I have unlocked The November meeting Profiling, so that those still considering signing up for a subscription can see how the days are formatted, and how Profiling works.
The Friday opened with the Conditional Jockey’s Handicap Hurdle and was won by the David Pipe trained AMERICAN SNIPER. Those accessing the Profiling knew this horse was very much off as a result of a Market Movers update and it whizzed in @ 16/1.
Profiling really did produced the goods in the 1-45pm race, when TRIPLE TRADE, the Profile selection, flew up the hill to catch CALICO and win going away @ 10/3f. There had been plenty of 5/1 around when Profiling had been produced and he landed the punt.
I’d taken the 6/4 about my Profiling selection, JPR ONE, in the next race, the Arkle Trial, and he had gone clear going to the last, when he jumped well, but decided he wanted to finish without his jockey, and unseated him. I’ve had that happen many times before, and I have had the luck go my way when one that had mine beaten hits the deck at the last, and I pocket a profit. That’s racing.
I never bet those Cross Country things and so abstained at 2-55pm….I did though, say: “Everyone knows Gordon Elliott farms the Cheltenham Festival version come March but, in this race heβs 0-9 in the last 10 years, only two of those nine runners placing.”
Elliott’s two runners were GALVIN, went off favourite, and DELTA WORK second favourite, and they finished 6th & 8th….both could have been laid until the cows came home.Β
The race was won by a horse that had failed to complete that course in two previous attempts and I promise you, they couldn’t get me to place a bean on that kind of race, if they threatened to keel haul me.
The Markets again highlighted the winner of the 3-30pm event, the Novice’s Hurdle.Β
The one thing I will be making sure of is, that I introduce a Market Movers section in to each Profiled race because that will ensure I transfer over the advice provided to my Post Racing subscribed members….this is what they had in their OMMS section:
- (OMM) 3-30 β CAPTAIN TEAGUE β 8/11 > 4/7 (SOLID) – 2ND 4/6
- π₯ (OMM)Β 3-30 β KINBARA β 8/1 > 5/1 > 4/1
- (MMM) 3-30 β MINELLA MISSILE β 20/1 > 14/1 – WON 22/1
The “Movers” produced a 50/1 Exacta as the bigger priced one was simply to good for the odds on favourite. Without watching those markets, we’d never have been on.
Profiling called it completely wrong in the last race but that’s simply because stats/trends are always going to be there to be beaten….never yet worried about getting one wrong, especially the last race of the day after I have bet winners at 22/1, 16/1, and 6/4, from the five races I got involved in!
